What does that make Pringles though? I'd not be surprised if they weren't classified as food of any description actually, but I'm guessing they must be something.

Some sort of corn starch I think. Same as Burger King chips - they don't have any potato in them either.

Actually Pringles DO contain potato - about 40% - it's just that they also contain wheat and corn flours! They are apparently more correctly classfied as a savoury cracker... Either way, they're evil ;-)
