Scoop, again
I've posted about Scoop previously and I am going to do so again because of my ongoing love affair with the place.
Their ice-creams are astounding so I am stoically working my way through the flavours. But, when you're there, don't forget about the pasticceri as well. Matteo, the owner, very kindly foisted upon me what I thought was a profiterole but was in fact a pastry of such sublime chocolatey-choux pastry deliciousness, that lumping it together with the depth charges one normally associates with profiteroles is a sin.
Go now and eat ice cream and pastries and remind yourself of the joy of simple food made fantastically well.

Hi. I went to this ice cream place specifically because of your reccomendation. It was great so thanks. I had an amazing hazlenut, with a creamy fior de latte and a pine nut. All delicious, I think the pine nut had quite a complex flavour but it got drowned out by the superb hazlenut, I'll try it again on its own. All th flavours look interesting, great find. Thanks again. I don't think its the only decent gelateria in London, I've never seen the appeal of Marine Ices but like Bar Caffe Ciao on Charring Cross Rd. I think it gets a bit overlooked because locals assume its a tourist trap. What do you think?
PS Am going to slip in a cheeky link to my newish food blog, don't know if thats good netiquette. Have a look at it, but delete the link and this postscript if you want. http://londonrestaurant.blog.co.uk/

Pleased you enjoyed it, it can never get a hearty enough recommendation from me. As for the link to your blog, I'm happy to leave it in there as it seems pretty interesting.
