That summer feeling?

Is ALO's Girl, I Wanna Lay You Down the best foodie/summer/feel-good song out there? I think it could be. I particularly like the lines You're smooth and creamy like peanut butter and I'm gonna flood you like a love river.

Maybe I'm feeling the effects of the first waves of summer. You can watch the video below and decide for yourself.

Its got potential to be just that - and peanut butter is a favorite of mine. Are there any past foodie/summer/feel-good songs that come to mind?

Not that I can think of off the top of my head, but will give it a bit of thought.

Great tune! Smooth, silky, love song, I dare say. However your english upbringing or youth, I'm not sure which, has lead you to exclude the american anthem that has any contenders for "best foodie/summer/feel-good song" beat hands down. It's an oldie but goodie done by none other then the ParrotHead himself, Jimmie Buffet.
Now of course the object of this song is the lowly cheeseburger, but of course that's not the point. Check it out. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bJpDMug1YMA

Mr Dick, I worry for your sanity. I know you're an American, but still. You need to spend more time listening to decent British music (not that AOL are, mind you). You always had such good taste in aural pleasure, but now I am scared. Clearly, the only answer is to jump on a plan with Mrs Dick and the little man and come back to the old country.
